The choreography of the fight scene gave me many headaches. Writing ensemble fics is difficult at the bext of times but when there are five people involved in a fight, it becomes almost even more so.
The idea of the dismemberment comes from the episode in AtS where Lorne was beheaded. The books were also from that stopover in Pilea; it seemed a natural thing to combine the two ideas as the method of destroying WR&H.
